MFA Examination Exhibition

exhibitions, my art, printmakers, prints :: posted on June 7th, 2009

Well finally the end of the race is in sight and while there are no ribbons to burst through it will be a celebration of completion.

There will be an installation of ceramic work, Beneath the Skin and an installation of the Precipice which has over 80 prints at 59 x 59cm in size. The prints are primarily etching with quite a few combining lithograph and etching. The support work will be in my studio space.

So there it is! An ending – or a beginning?

Congratulations Linden, a fantastic accomplishment. I’m sad that I’ll miss the exhibition.

    Best Wishes
    Claire

Thanks Claire, but I think your beautiful little Jasper is a much bigger achievment. He is really gorgeous!

Congratulations! Wish I could see the exhibition – so what’s next? lol! My husband finished his masters and has been waving PhD words around…I am just ignoring all references to doctor…

HA! Yes the PHD talk had been thrown about, but really I have been studying since 1997 and I think I need a break! Also I need to spend some time working on what I have learnt and developing my art before I could really decide what would be a good PHD study. And more uni?…. mmmm not at the moment thanks!
I’ll be taking photos and a film of the exhibition which I hope to post somewhere, so hopefully that will happen and be good enough to get some idea of the show. Thanks for the comment Lynette!

Wish I could be there to see it in person too Linden. Looking forward to the photo’s of the opening instead as consolation :)

Thanks Marja-Leena – I woke up this morning in a panic thinking about how I can photograph the show to best advantage! Still putting the boards together that will support each print – lots to do lots to do!

Thanks Jay and I certainly hope your exhibition goes well in Brisbane – must be time for a post about that too!
