Work up at Henry Jones Art Hotel

As a member of the Print Society at the University of Tasmania I had the opportunity to have a print on show in the Henry Jones Art Hotel. The is a nice quiet ambiance about in the corridors the group of works hang in, perhaps heightened by the soft lighting.
The print I chose to put in is from 2006 and is a layered etching. It is an area of print style I’m interested in following up when I finish the current project. There is a great range of work on show throughout the hotel, so if you happen to be in the area then ask at the desk for a tour of the artwork and the staff will point you the right direction!

This is so different from your other work! The atmosphere it creates is very peaceful, perfect to wake up looking at that image

Yes it is very different! It will be a challenge ot develop it further. I was trying to make it a peaceful image when i did it – so that was good to hear! Thanks Amy!!!
