The exhibition for the Fremantle Print Award is coming up on the 23rd. So if your over Perth way it would be a brilliant show to catch. I like their photo of the selection process happening on the website – good to see what is usually behind closed doors and all too much of a mystery really. As an artist it is good to see what happens when you send off the work, don’t you think?
Another approaching date is the residence program for Bundanon. Oh how wonderful it would be to have some time there! They are so well set up and I see they have a terrific collection of work to inspire the visitor too.
A little way off is the 2009 Burnie Print Prize which has a $10,000 Acquisitive Award, so it is well worth planning ahead for. The closing date is in October and there is more information on their website.
