Meanwhile, as we moved about, Abi seemed to fill every spare minute with painting or drawing.

I haven’t done a fantastic job of photographing these works as she has them up on her wall and the light is less than perfect for photographs.  But for a young lady of 14 who spent such a dedicated amount of time working on her art I think that the result speaks volumes.

    They’re absolutely brilliant, she’s a very talented young lady. I wish I had a skerrick of that kind of artistic talent at 43!! My favourite are the desert peas (I think that’s what they are) which remind me of Day of the Triffids for some reason. Nice work, Abi.
