“Banksia”, etching and chin colle
The Hunter Island Press mini print exhibition is coming up again. This year it will be at the Rosny Schoolhouse Gallery which is a beautiful dash of history close to Eastlands shopping centre. Running from the 12th of June to the 26th, the prints are all for sale at $25 and are all 21 x 21cm. Techniques range widely and there is always a huge rush on the opening night, which is a lot of fun! The prints that are selected are replaced by new ones from the reserve piles, so it is an interesting shifting display.

These are my two new additions to the mini print file! They were really fun to do and print, being such a small size compared to the large plates I have been working on.
So also tomorrow morning I am heading off to Alice Springs (the taxi is arriving at 4.30am to take us to the airport) and I won’t be able to blog until I return in a couple of weeks! It will be a fantastic adventure with some incredible landscape to work in and plenty of red dirt to seep into everything I take there!
So the next blog will be all about Alice Springs and surrounds!
